Youth Pastor: Asia Frye asiafrye@hotmail.com
I grew up in rural Oklahoma and attended college at The University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!) where I received my degree in Religious Studies. For two years after graduation I served at the Wesley Foundation, the United Methodist Campus Ministry, there at OU while my husband wrapped up his PhD in Mathematics. He now teaches at Tabor college, which is why we moved to Hillsboro. We have one daughter, Abilene, who was born in June of 2008 and a handful of pets. We like camping, board games, and cooking new things.
I am the "quarter time" youth pastor here at First Mennonite. We have Hi-Fy (Hillsboro inter-Fellowship Youth) Wednesday nights at 7pm in our still-under-construction youth room. That time incorportates worship, study, and fellowship. We also take fun outings once or twice a month to experience new ways of service, to worship or hear great speakers, or just have fun. A group without substance is meaningless, but a group without fun takes a very narrow view of the Gospel, so we try to find a nice balance. For more info people email me at asiafrye@hotmail.com, or Facebook me.
Fun in Christ, Asia

I truly feel like I’m returning home as I resume duties as secretary at First Mennonite Church. I was secretary at FMC from 1995-2005. My husband David, who works for Golden Heritage Foods as Vice President of Sales, and I have lived in Hillsboro for 25 years. We have three married children and seven precious grandchildren.
